What began with five mini school buses transporting students back and forth to school in Staten Island 30 years ago, Island Charter has grown to include mini school buses, large school buses and coach buses - servicing schools, private charters, sporting events, corporate events and special occasions. Located in the West Shore IBID of Staten Island, Island Charter is independently owned, managed and operated by its original founders. Today, Island Charter proudly operates nearly 150 vehicles, and services throughout New York and New Jersey.

John DiFazio, Founder
John is the CEO of Difazio Industries, a contractor that has been serving the five boroughs and tri-state area for over 40 years. The company has experience in a wide variety of construction development projects with clients that include public utilities, private industries, and government agencies.

Jeff Henick & Denise Henick, Founders
Stop & Stor is located in the West Shore IBID of Staten Island, they have grown into New York’s self storage leader by constantly offering more to their customers, from cutting-edge facilities and friendly staff to exclusive promotions and rooms for every budget.
New York Fragrance
Ram Cherukuri, Founder
Over 30 years ago, Ram started his business in the back of his Dodge Ram. Later in 1987, he opened a storefront in Port Richmond called New York Fragrance. Since then, the company has outgrown its location and moved to the Bloomfield neighborhood in 2010.
